Commemorate the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance
The UMassD Leduc Center for Civic Engagement hosts a service rally with Sharing the Harvest Community Farm at the Dartmouth YMCA to commemorate the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance.
Date/Time/Location: Sunday, September 8. Shifts available: 11:30am-1:30pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm. Transportation is provided. Buses will leave parking lot 5 at 11:30am for the first shift and 1:30pm for the second shift. Sharing the Harvest Farm is located at 276 Gulf Rd., Dartmouth, MA 02748.

Part-Time Job, Internship & Volunteer Fair
Date/Time/Location: Tuesday, September 10, 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Tripp Athletic Center
Network and speak with more than 65 organizations looking to hire students in all majors. Learn more about internships and part-time positions from employers. Well also have volunteer organizations on hand if you are looking for those opportunities. We strongly encourage students with work-study awards to attend, as partners from the Community-Based Work-Study (CBWS) program will be in attendance. You'll discover opportunities to earn your federal work-study award while contributing to the local community through the CBWS program.

RAD Classes

Details: The RAD, Rape Aggression Defense, class course, for women only, consists of 4 classes.
This course is open to all female UMass Dartmouth students, faculty and staff at no charge. Sports teams, student groups, co-workers encouraged to register. Participants will receive a free RAD manual upon program completion. Participants must attend all four classes to successfully complete the program.
The R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) system is a comprehensive course for women. The R.A.D system is dedicated to teaching women defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault by using easy, effective and proven self-defense tactics.

NCAA Legislative Summit
Details: The UMassD Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will discuss the Division III National SAAC priorities and the NCAA Governance Structure, review 2025 proposals and take a straw poll vote on each proposal in advance of the NCAA Convention in January.

Leveraging your Athletic Experience

Details: In this workshop, you will craft a description of your experience as a student-athlete that you can put directly into your resume. The statement will quantify the time you dedicated, the skills you acquired, your awards and recognition, the leadership positions you held, etc.

Details: Come connect with representatives from various professional schools, including those in the medical and legal fields, as well as graduate schools.
