74 reactions · 26 comments | Please see below for the full details on how I refinished this paint washed French Provincial dresser—and don’t forget to like, comment, share (and save for later!) 😉 -fully cleaned and degreased—I usually use Krud Kutter by @rustoleum @rustoleumca for this but I ran out so I used some Blue Dawn this time instead -I FULLY sanded the drawers, top and sides to bare wood using my favourite @festoolcanada @festool sander —it’s critical to get to bare wood if you are using a paint wash technique -the rest of the piece was scuff sanded to prep for the paint (this included the legs and cross bars for this piece) -I taped off the areas I would be painting so that I didn’t get the “wash” on those spots and then I started with my paint wash first -I blended two coats Refinish French Provincial Dresser, Krud Kutter, Paint Wash, Provincial Dresser, Blue Dawn, French Provincial Dresser, Text Art, Painting Furniture, French Provincial
