Disable sites

Netlify allows you to disable your sites to take them offline while keeping your existing configuration. This is also an effective way to stop consuming resources like build minutes, functions or bandwidth.

Note that you cannot disable a site if the site is a public extension as this would break other sites using that extension.

# Disable a site

As an Owner, to disable a site:

  1. Go to

    and select Disable site.

# Enable a site

You can enable a site/app at any time.

As an Owner, to enable a site:

  1. Go to

    and select Enable site.
