Pre-season and friendlies
editOn 6 June, Everton confirmed three pre-season friendlies versus Salford City, Coventry City and Preston North End.[37] A month later, a trip to the Republic of Ireland was announced to face Sligo Rovers.[38] On 14 July, a home friendly against Serie A side Roma was announced.[39]
