Taxonomy
editBoettgerilla is the only genus in the family Boettgerillidae.[1][3] This family has no subfamilies (according to the taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005).[4]
Boettgerillidae Van Goethem, 1972[5] is not an available name, because it has no diagnosis.[4]
Distribution
editDistribution of Boettgerillidae include western Palearctic.[6]
Species
editThere are two[1][3] species in the genus Boettgerilla and they include:
- Boettgerilla compressa Simroth, 1910 - type species[2][3][7]
- Boettgerilla pallens Simroth, 1912
