Spelling

edit

Table key: "Green text the couple(s) with the hightest score for that week." "highest" is the correct spelling.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 14:48, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fixed, if you want to fix it go to Template:Strictly Come Dancing table key

Dance Chart table getting rather wide

edit

Would it be massively objectionable to use abbreviations instead of the full names of each dance? It's threatening to spill over the side of even my wide-screen display… HTH HAND —Phil | Talk 19:18, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Couple of points (Semi Final)

edit

Just a few points that I thought needed to be brought up regarding the Semi final. I would implement a few of them, but so soon after broadcast, I don't think its worth doing it just yet!

  • We were told that the couples that left were announced in no particular order. Gavin & Katya and Scott & Natalie should probably therefore always be labeled as 4-5, and not 4 for Scott and 5 for Gavin because that was the order they appeared to finish. I can however see a case for saying Gavin was the 10th couple eliminated and Scott the 11th, because technically that is true.
  • We were never specifically told that Matt & Aliona were in the bottom three. They just happened to be the couple put through to the final last. I think Dancing with The Stars uses a green colour for such a circumstance. Maybe we could do the same?
    • Is it really necessary to record that at all, though? Dancing With The Stars uses that system because it doesn't officially announce the bottom two, but just vaguely announces that two couples are not definitely safe yet. Matt and Aliona weren't in the bottom three, they were just the last couple to be told they were through. It seems a bit unnecessary to have any kind of marker for this when it was never used for any of the other weeks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.24.45.69 (talk) 13:17, 19 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

TV Ratings

edit

Anyone know the technical/formatting reason why the column showing the weekly TV ranking across all channels is not showing up in the article? It was appearing, but someone made numerous changes to the article and now the numbers don't appear. Alas, I'm not smart enough about wiki to work it out. The data is there; it's just not showing in the article. Anyone help? TVArchivistUK (talk) 01:45, 21 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

OK, I worked out what had been deleted to cause the error and restored the missing keystroke. But now it's added a slim column on the right. If someone can fix that, it would be great. Still, better than having missing information! TVArchivistUK (talk) 08:07, 21 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Michelle Williams' Paso Doble song (Week 7)

edit

The Week 7 table has Michelle Williams down as dancing to The Guess Who's 'American Woman', when in fact it's Lenny Kravitz's 'American Woman'. Please can this be rectified? Becasue (talk) 13:51, 28 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

RFC impacting this page

edit

Hey! I've recently opened an RFC regarding some of the colours used in the scoring chart for this and several other articles. You can find the discussion here - please feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks! Remagoxer (talk) 01:35, 28 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

edit
