About me
editWelcome to my user page! I have been active on Wikipedia two years now as a Campus Ambassador at Rice University for the Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities program. Previously, I taught a course in SOCI 280 with Dr. Kimberly Kay Hoang, where our students contributed 21 new pages to Wikipedia. At school, I am majoring in French Studies and Policy Studies with a focus on Law and Justice, and minoring in the Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities program. I love learning new languages, the adrenaline rush of adventure sports (canyon swinging in Nepal, anyone?) and obsessing over the history and culture of coffee. In the future, I hope to work on international policy, focusing on indigenous and immigration rights.
Let me know if you have any comments or concerns!
What's the Bean?
editFor my entire undergraduate career at Rice University, I have nurtured the idea of teaching a course on the history of coffee through the Student Taught Course program. We have a saying in Medellin, where I was born, "Let's share some coffee, and let's be friends."
