I work a little in a lot of places on Wikipedia, in terms of both the types of articles I write/edit and the project-facing venues I frequent. My interests are all over the place, but a few highlights are aviation (duh), linguistics, and, occasionally, individually-notable animals. A couple of my bigger content contributions to the site were getting Ted Kaczynski to FA and a four award for Strom Thurmond filibuster of the Civil Rights Act of 1957. I'm also a reviewer at Articles for Creation and sometimes do anti-vandal work.
Many of my contributions are in relatively minor mainspace maintenance work, creation of smaller articles about topics I stumbled upon, GOCE copyedits, AfD comments, etc. I enjoy working with other editors, so if there's a topic you're working on that you think I might find interesting, give me a shout at my talk page!
The Featured Article Medal By the authority vested in me by myself it gives me great pleasure to present you with this special, very exclusive award created just for we few, we happy few, this band of brothers, who have shed sweat, tears, and probably blood, in order to be able to proudly claim "I too have taken an article to Featured status".
October blitz bling This barnstar is awarded to AviationFreak for copy edits totaling over 10,000 words (including rollover words) during the GOCE October 2022 Copy Editing Blitz. Congratulations, and thank you for your contributions!
The Working Wikipedian's Barnstar We really appreciate that you reviewed several GANs during the drive. Due in part to your efforts, the backlog of unreviewed nominations was reduced by 440 articles, an astonishing 69 percent.
