Madala Ravi is an Indian Actor and Producer who debuted into film industry as an child artist with film Erra Mallelu[2] which earned him a lot of awards as a child artist. He is also known for his charitable works and his social welfare events[3]. He is also actively participating in Politics also acting and producing movies.
Early life
Ravi studied at Kesari Higher Secondary School in Mylapore, Chennai. And after appearing in a song in film Erra Mallelu, Ravi went on to pursue his higher education in Medical in Rostov State Medical University, Russia and later continued to live there as a practicing Gastroenterology doctor and Managing Director of a pharmaceutical company. for 14 years. He came back to India in 2003[4] and with started his own film production banner Bharath Productions in which he produced a film Nenu Saitham[5] which was directed by Dhavala Satyam who also holds the credit for launching Ravi as Child Artist in film Erra Mallelu. Later Ravi appeared in various films like Maa Ilavelpu[6] and Veeragaadha under his own banner and later he refrained due to personal issues.
Comeback
He came back into film industry with film Broker 2[7][8] which earned a lot of appreciation among audience and then he went on to star in various films like Panchamukhi[9][10], Aloukika and Hindi Films Aaj Ka Inquilaab[11] and Naag Laxmi.
Personal life
Ravi started leading his independent life since the first day of his adulthood, he is known for traveling various countries and also has been part of various theater groups in Europe, Russia and India. He also has immense interest in serving people and he does so with various medical camps.
In 2017, Ravi's father Madala Ranga Rao was rushed to hospital as he had a cardiac arrest[12] after which Madala Ranga Rao was living with his son and daughter-in-law.
In early 2018, Madala Ravi lost his father to a cardiac arrest, after an year's medical care[13] and nursing veteran producer took his last breath on 27th May, 2018 in STAR Hospital, Hyderabad, Telangana. The demise of veteran actor, producer echoed in both Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana[14][15] and drew a lot of actors, producers and politicians to his funeral.
