Cumbric has been extinct since the 12th century, and no contemporary accounts of it survive. The "sheep counting system" has been used by shepherds in other counties as well. This section isn't relevant to an article on national languages. The Wikipedia article on Languages of the United Kingdom addresses Cumbric and other extinct languages and dialects formerly spoken in what is now the UK. undo
