  • curprev 17:3017:30, 28 October 2024 Kitaroalg talk contribs 178,904 bytes −4 The translation of دار الجهاد into English is not correct at all, because جهاد does not mean 'holy war' but it means 'struggle'. The word دار means 'house' or 'home,' but back then, it was used also to mean 'capital city.' For example, Ibn Khaldun said, 'تلمسان هي دار مملكة زناتة,' which means 'Tlemcen is the capital of the Kingdom of Zenata.' That’s why I chose to translate it as 'the Capital of Struggle.' undo Tags: Reverted Visual edit
