why do you keep removing any mentions of his death in the lead section ??? it's common practice all throughout wikipedia man @Jkaharper KabirDH (talk) 18:56, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @KabirDH: – his death is already mentioned in the opening brackets of the article lead, in the infobox field, and in the "personal life and death" section of his article. It doesn't get mentioned a fourth time at the end of the article lead. I don't know why you think this is the case, but I suggest you got and read WP:MS for help with how articles are generally written, laid out, and sourced. Thanks --Jkaharper (talk) 18:58, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Common practice all throughout wikipedia, i ask you to change the millions of articles doing the same before doing the same to this
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Margaret Thatcher KabirDH (talk) 19:02, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The third line of the lead (He headed its charitable trusts) feels very abrupt and incomplete. I have tried editing it a couple of times but my edits keep getting caught in your reverts. "He continued to head its charitable trusts till his death." seems like a much better replacement. Lone Warrior 007 (talk) 19:06, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid you're mistaken KabirDH – Thatcher and ABV were heads of state, and their deaths spawned state funerals, hence mentioning it again in the summary is appropriate. For Tata it isn't, it's already covered in the infobox and in the personal life section. There really is little more than to say he died in hospital in Mumbai. It's not a defining moment of his life. --Jkaharper (talk) 19:09, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
they were heads of government, and much isn't mentioned about their death on articles apart from when they died - it is NOT mentioned what type of funeral they were accorded. I request you to reach a consensus before reverting KabirDH (talk) 19:11, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In accordance with Wikipedia policy, I strongly suggest you stop edit warring now before you are banned. If there is an objection to something being included in the article by other users then it's your job to raise it here and restore it to the page until there is a consensus from other users that it should be added. Next time you add it in, I'll take this to the administrator's noticeboard. --Jkaharper (talk) 19:16, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
more than glad for you to take this to the admin's noticeboard KabirDH (talk) 19:17, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is your turn to reach a consensus before making any reverts, thank you KabirDH (talk) 19:20, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @KabirDH:, just an FYI that I have raised this at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard. I'm sorry that we couldn't arrive at a conclusion here. --Jkaharper (talk) 19:37, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
