With regards to your comments on User talk:ClairSamoht: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Waitak 15:08, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow! Thanks Waitak for the lovely message are you Clair's alter ego or something. Go to his talk page he is known to be a vandal of many pages. Just ask the Science apologist. So you're comments to me are ill-founded and rather misplaced.User:74.93.44.78 13:16, 2 November 2006 (UTC)ClairsmuhutUser:User:74.93.44.78 13:16, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Here's what you wrote on ClairSamoht's page:
You assume something about Clair. He is not a nice or civil person and posts on this site with a personal vendetta or chip on his shoulder. He will not deal with an civility on situations because he is immature and hateful. I believe he is a very unhappy person.
I count at the very least five attacks against Clair's character in that posting. WP:NPA states quite clearly that this is against Wikipedia policy. My message was intended to encourage you not to violate this policy.
In answer to your questions: no, I'm not Clair's alter ego. He's become a valued friend and colleague, though, through the work that we've collaborated on here. I know his talk page quite well though, and no, he's not a vandal. He has particularly strong beliefs regarding how references ought to be used in Wikipedia articles. Those beliefs have brought him into conflict with people who don't share them. These conflicts notwithstanding, he's made many valuable contributions to Wikipedia, and I think it's a great loss to the community that he's chosen not to participate any longer.
Your message to me was quite sarcastic. I've chosen not to respond in kind, but to respond respectfully. I hope that you respond similarly to me and others here. Incivility is not welcome, appropriate, helpful or necessary in any community. Waitak 14:12, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
