Big welcome to the article rescue squadron

Here to help articles tagged for rescue!

Hi, FeydHuxtable, welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron! We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying and rescuing articles that have been tagged for deletion. Every day hundreds of articles are deleted, many rightfully so. But many concern notable subjects and are poorly written, ergo fixable and should not be deleted. We try to help these articles quickly improve and address the concerns of why they are proposed for deletion. This covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome! Ikip (talk) 19:26, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Currency war

was just about to create the article and saw you beat me to it by a week ;)

The article needs some work in copy editing, etc and then an expansion for the detailed countries/currencies at the centre of dispute, read a heck of a lot in the past few weeks (incl. the Euro being the victim where everyone cant weaken). You seem to have some experience in these make up articles, I was wondering if youre up for a team up to FA status on this?Lihaas (talk) 02:38, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just got your message, there were soem others that superceded it so it get lost ;)
Per the FA/GA status, it doenst need to wait for a resolution if the current part is well-up-to-date, the rest can be duly added (and we can get profile for the apge by a DYK listing or somethign of the sort, perhaps ITN this Friday?). For the academic stuff, i agree, but we can also lookign at the liked of mises.org, etc. (and the keynesian type academic forums). the older example can be well-sourced and improved int he meantime too.
I suppose, though, with the 2 regulars we can work it on talk. ill get to that in a bit.
ps- are you economist by training? or just interested?Lihaas (talk) 10:57, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, i think well have to play is slow anyways. But this Friday might be some big news coming out of Seoul which could get an ITN nom. Ill wait a bit to suggest somethign at DYK (unless you think there is some "did you know" fact that could already be interesting enough to nominate for the main page).
Ill take the rest to talk.Lihaas (talk) 11:50, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've given it a go. We should check periodically to see if there are issues we can correct for it to go on the main page.

Could you suggest any economic think-tanks? Im looking at cato and mises for currency war (but then got distracted to other issued ;))Lihaas (talk) 11:10, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also my nom was deleted for some reason. silly really, but i guess the rule would be different if the creator submitted it. (apparently mine was not expanded enough since my nomination) it seems you need a 5x expansion in 5 days and we were not there, it can be 5x from here..Lihaas (talk) 11:15, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thats okay, but ive added a list of links that we could go through.
ps- it seems the g7 meeting was not over as earlier suggested.(Lihaas (talk) 12:26, 27 October 2010 (UTC)).[reply]
Give some of them a go and <strike> them out, then ill get to some others.
also, feel free to add yours too.Lihaas (talk) 14:40, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Shoot me a message when youre set for active work on the page to enhance it.(Lihaas (talk) 10:53, 17 December 2010 (UTC)).[reply]
Just got your message (it was all the way up  ;)).
but im semi-retiring now. dont really care much about the waste-of-time wikipedia. so good lick and let the article shine ;)(Lihaas (talk) 04:02, 6 January 2011 (UTC)).[reply]
You know what, i was just pissed around wiki[[edia. would help to better my wiki-participation with someone like you. so ill help when youw ant. Ill also go through and review the articel in the next few days and we can then discuss further expansions/splits if need be,(Lihaas (talk) 21:56, 9 January 2011 (UTC)).[reply]
generally i like that version, but think somewhere there should be talk off this conflict as the article is after all "currency war"(Lihaas (talk) 20:17, 10 January 2011 (UTC)).[reply]
Agree on the undue emphasis (and ittl also clear up the article), but digress in keeping out any [brief] mnetion of the compettive nature. althjough, again, id agree that a list o f quote is more suited to wikiqutoes than here (of which we can link too if need be). How does that sound?(Lihaas (talk) 00:53, 15 January 2011 (UTC)).[reply]

Here he is

You wanted to know when it was done. Here is Gottlob Espenlaub. SilverserenC 04:57, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
