Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Bluwiki123
user has exactly 0 mainspace edits. Also nominating User:Bluwiki123/Bluwiki123's List of Fantasy Wrestling Tournaments and User talk:Bluwiki123 per WP:NOT myspace. Nardman1 17:03, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure that this is the way to make people contribute. But how did he ever find LegoAxiom's talk page? He can't be a sockpuppet or Checkuser would have caught him... odd. -Amarkov moo! 17:40, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- Comment - what's with deleting his user talk page that includes a suggestion to edit articles per above. Also glad to see that Amarkov shares my absolute faith in the utter infalibity of checkuser. Addhoc 19:20, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- Because it contains completely unencyclopedic content such as "This section involves u asking 2 become my wikifriend." And he deleted the helpful hint to begin editing. Nardman1 21:55, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- You know, why do you notice that I should be editing? Bluwiki123 21:44, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- See for example Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Handysack. Deleting the user pages of non-contributive users is a common occurrence here. Nardman1 21:55, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- Delete - per nom and Bluwiki123's posting here plus on Jimbo's user page. Addhoc 23:33, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- Delete per above. MER-C 03:09, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Are you saying I'm the worst Wikipedian? Bluwiki123 15:23, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- You're not a Wikipedian at all, really, since you're not contributing anything useful to the project. But you're far from the worst. I wouldn't even call you bad—simply misguided and ignorant of Wikipedia rules and guidelines. Xtifr tälk 22:59, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- For the fantasy wrestling page, Strong delete. There's no hope of that page being turned into anything useful to the 'Pedia. For the user page, I would say Delete unless user can be persuaded to stop misusing WP resources for social networking and other personal ends. If he voluntarily removes all references to "wikifriends" (a horrible concept that simply must be nipped in the bud), trims back on the blather, and is willing to express an interest in actually contributing to the encyclopedia, then perhaps the page could be kept. At this point, I can't tell if he actually wants to contribute, or simply got lost while searching for MySpace. If it is the former, though, then deleting the userpage seems a bit like WP:BITEing the newbie. But the subpage absolutely must go in any case. Xtifr tälk 22:59, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Why, should my subpage go? Is it because I have sort of a relation to MySpace? Bluwiki123 01:04, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- Becuase you are using Wikipedia as myspace-lite, which is not allowed. MER-C 07:22, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- Worst case of newbie biting I've seen in a while I'm sorry, it's true. Somebody's signed up 13 days ago, and you want to delete their userpage? Of course they have no mainspace contributions, they're brand new. He's sandboxing. Note that this does not come from some clueless, soft-hearted passerby. I know LegoAxiom's patterns, I filed the CheckUser, I was probably one of the first people to comment on Bluwiki's editing of Lego's page, and I will not hesitate to block disruptive sockpuppets. This user has not been disruptive. This is quite a low. Keep all pages. Saying there's no hope of the subpage becoming anything useful - er, it's a test page. It will develop. Don't you remember being new? – Riana ऋ 11:58, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- Delete the subpage per WP:NOT, keep the userpage per WP:AGF. If the user does not make any worthwhile contributions to the project within a few months then this can be reconsidered. TomPhil 14:23, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
My user page really should be kept. but, I don't mind if my subpage is deleted, though. And, you can't delete someone's things just because they post on everybody's talkpage, and I also want my talkpage kept. And you really shouldn't delete someone's things because they don't edit, and you should tell them that it will be deleted. Bluwiki123 22:13, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- Well the purpose of an account is to edit the encyclopedia, and nothing else- especially not social networking. If you abuse your account by using it for social networking, it could be blocked. Sorry, but this is an encyclopedia. If you want to make friends or collect autographs or something, then there are plenty of sites for that kind of thing. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them. --Wafulz 23:32, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Editing, BBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGG! Bluwiki123 01:06, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- If you don't want to edit, then you're free to leave until you've changed your mind. Continuing to make non-constructive edits will get you blocked though. --Wafulz 01:23, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Delete per above. - SVRTVDude (VT) 02:10, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- Delete talk and wrestling pages, but keep watch of nominated content, and do likewise if user does not make sufficient article edits after this. --Slgrandson (page - messages - contribs) 03:31, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- Comment - it's now on my list of list of vanity user pages, dated today. I will attend to it in roughly two months time. MER-C 13:57, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
