Category:Archaeological sites of Southern Africa

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Page dedicated to archaeological sites in Southern Africa (as opposed to the study of Southern African Archaeology itself). Southern Africa is as defined by the UN (Botswana, South Africa, ESwatini, Lesotho, and Namibia).

This category is intended for individual archaeological sites, not complexes or cultures. These should be categorized under Category:Archaeology of Southern Africa. As such, an article about the archaeological site of Blaauboschkraal stone ruins (the famous "Bakoni Ruins") should go under this category, whereas an article about the broader Bokoni Culture/Society should not.
