This engine output varies by application, for the Hyundai Veracruz it makes 240–245 PS (177–180 kW; 237–242 hp) at 3,800 rpm and 46 kg⋅m (333 lb⋅ft; 451 N⋅m) of torque between 1,750 and 3,500 rpm. For the Kia Mohave it makes 250 PS (184 kW; 247 hp) at 3,800 rpm and 55 kg⋅m (398 lb⋅ft; 539 N⋅m) of torque between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm. This engine is rated at 20 mpg city, 30 mpg highway and passes the US Emissions Standards.
