Mundo (transl. "World") is the eighth studio album by Panamian singer-songwriter Rubén Blades, released on 17 September 2002 through Sony International, Sony Tropical, and Columbia Records.[1] It was produced by Blades, Walter Flores, and Edin Solís, and features folk standards such as "Danny Boy" and salsa standards like "Estampa", "Parao!", and "El Capitan y la Sirena". The album won a Grammy Award for Best World Music Album in 2003 and received a nomination for Album of the Year at the 4th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, the same year.
