PLEASE DO NOT remove any sources, and make sure related articles have a similar claim. The same sources from the article [[Gujarat Sultanate]] should also be in the article [[Muzaffarids (Gujarat)]] as both are related and correspond to each other. I didn't removed any source despite the fact that there is simple error. Zafar Khan family was from Thanesar Haryana not Punjab: source clearly mentions it and even Aparna Kapadia accepts it on page 8. There were no Punjabi khatri in Haryana in those days. Tanka is not even a clan in that community, but it is a lower ( Gaurwa) division of kshatriya community of Haryana. Here the word kshatriya doesn't meant Punjabi khatri. All that claim is based on archived translated version from Urdu to English which makes Kshatriya sound as Khatri there. Even Punjabi khatri historian like Satish Chandra doesn't accept that he was Punjabi khatri. If that guy who was no love lost and has been biased towards his community didn't claimed Zafar Khan to be Punjbi khatri than that it is enough. Regarding Satish Chandra Mishra claim about khatri, it is all based on translation and archived version translation error from Urdu to English can result into such things. That is why other historians doesn't agree with it. Here it was kshatriya ( Mirat - i - Sikander source) not specifically Punjabi khatri. Anyways both perspective are there on the page.
