Argentinian production at FMA

[edit]

Ammended the "Manufacturers" list as it is incomplete in the reference cited. The fact that this arcraft was the first one manufactured at the FMA ("Fabrica Militar de Aviones", "Military Aricraft Factory" in spanish). is docummented in the wiki-article related to that manufacturer. I've added a link to that wiki-article. If needed, please check relevant references and sources mentoned in it. Kind regards, DPdH (talk) 13:34, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First flight

[edit]

According to this RAF chronology, the type flew in September not July 1913. Which date is correct? Drutt (talk) 16:50, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vincent Waterfall

[edit]

A recent addition added the names of the two men who were one of the first RFC casualties. Originally Waterfall was added as a Second Lieutenant but it has been changed to Lieutenant. Just to note the the Commonwealth War Graves Commission http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/478797 and a memorial in the church at Burgess Hill http://www.roll-of-honour.com/Sussex/BurgessHill.html describe him as a 2Lt. Also even more official is the London Gazette Issue 28944 3rd Battalion, The East Yorkshire Regiment, Second Lieutenant Vincent Waterfall is seconded for service with the Royal Flying Corps. Dated 5th August, 1914.. So I would suggest it should be changed back. Thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 15:15, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Replica at Sydney Domestic Airport

[edit]

The replica at Sydney Domestic Airport hasn't been on display for at least 4 months. No response from Qantas where it has been moved to. 2405:6E00:296:A9D3:8895:6AF6:D86:AEAC (talk) 07:59, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Avrushka (Little Avro) U-1/MU-1

[edit]

Date cited on the Wikimedia Commons file showing drawings of the Avrushka (Little Avro) U-1/MU-1 is 1923, whereas the article about Sergey Ilyushin implies an earlier date for the Russian copy (c. 1919-20). Which date should be used here? (Mindful not to fall into SYNTH trap.) Cheers Cl3phact0 (talk) 07:32, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
