I feel that the "classic" old san serif CBS News logo should be put in the page's main caption box rather than the 2006 logo that's there now. Lara Logan

The lara logan controversy should be added. When CBS's chief foreign correspondent goes on the record saying that publishing accurate quotes is bad journalism, its a big scandal. Listing every single programme and correspondent

I'm concerned by listing such a large amount of bulleted information in the article, it crosses the line of WP:IINFO and takes us into "long and sprawling lists of statistics [which] may be confusing to readers and reduce the readability and neatness of our articles". The average reader would benefit more from a couple of prose paragraphs about the channel's most significant correspondents (presented with appropriate context), than from a seven page list of everyone who's ever worked at the station. Similarly, a descriptive history of the station's news slots would let the reader distinguish the significant events in the station's lifetime from relatively minor changes in title or lineup. The CBS News templates, and optionally some newly created categories, should be doing the heavy lifting of "here is a list of every relevant biography article". The Don Webster I think we are actually interested in was a CBS correspondent during the Vietnam War who did some famous and some famously controversial pieces. Wouldn't honesty compel the note that Rhodes of CBS is related to Ben Rhodes, the White House advisor who is involved in the IRS scandal? biased news

Media bias. There have been many instances of biased reporting from CBS News. Noteworthy is from 21 year CBS journalist 5 time Emmy winner Sharyl Attkisson's New York Times bestseller Stonewalled : my fight for truth against the forces of obstruction, intimidation, and harassment in Obama's Washington which referenced among other improprieties at CBS News one of the biggest stories of 2012 the Benghazi attack which she alleged was under-reported by CBS News which notably painted Obama & especially Hillary Clinton in a bad light. There were questions about who knew what when. It is clear to those who look at what & how CBS News reports objectively that it is partisan biased to the left.Haddi Nuff (talk) 21:21, 18 April 2021 (UTC)

The allegations made by Attkisson are already extensively covered in her article. As she's the sole source of those allegations, her article is where it's treated. I'm not against such things being mentioned here, but unfortunately the coverage is pretty much confined to her, and no reliable sources report on it as anything else but uncorroborated claims being made by her personally. Thus her page is a better place to cover those claims, as opposed to the CBS article, since they're essentially hearsay. There are also some issues as to her overall credibility as of late in terms of various claims she's made, as well as her affiliation with the Heritage Foundation, that would affect how we would present such information.
