- Shiloh is linked twice in the lead, not necessary
- Done
- "when the census recorded him as the well-off owner of real estate valued at $2,000 and the same amount in other assets" - remove "well-off", as its unlikely that census source compares his wealth to others
- Fair, it does stand for itself
- "The night before, the brigade was shifted from Withers' to Cheatham's Division by Leonidas Polk, seeking to simplify the command structure" - not seeing where Cozzens says that Polk order this? Polk is only mentioned as proposing a turning movement and the applicable spot in the source is Withers and Cheatham had agreed to split their commands: Cheatham would direct the movements of Loomis, Manigault, Vaughan, and Maney, while Withers led Donelson, Stewart, Anderson, and Chalmers
- Added ref to Daniel, which provides the detail that Polk was trying to avoid a repeat of the chaos that occurred when brigades were intermixed at Shiloh
- "Cheatham's post-battle report recorded an estimated 75 casualties in Loomis' and Vaughan's brigades" - the phrasing suggests this is for the whole battle, but it's after only the December 30 narrative, so it's not clear if this is one day or the whole battle
- Clarified, it is indeed only for that day
- Images are all properly licensed and from the incomparable Hal Jesperson
- Spot checked the Noe cite, a couple of the Cozzens cite, some of the OR cites, and a few stray ones; only issue noted mentioned above.
Good work here; placing on hold. Hog Farm Talk 02:45, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
