Here's my source. Does that pass? —Khoikhoi 05:07, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It shows the existence of that spelling on some Spanish language web page. Who knows how careful and reliable this source is? It doesn't answer the question of the proper name for this particular Wikipedia article, however. Gene Nygaard 05:15, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Remember, too, that this individual lived and worked in the United States proper, an English-speaking country, and that work is the only thing that makes him notable and worthy of an encyclopedia entry. That is especially relevant to the inclusion of "Juan Beniquez" in the text of the article itself. Gene Nygaard 05:30, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And in an English-speaking part of Canada, too. Gene Nygaard 05:32, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, point taken. However, here's my question to you: is the little accent-mark over the "i" that big of a deal? I don't think it is, and it's the correct spelling of his name, as shown by the Spanish sources. Furthermore, the first external link in this article, baseball-reference.com, spells it with the accent mark. The second two links, btw, can't spell San Sebastián as well... —Khoikhoi 05:35, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
