Copyright problem removed
[edit]One or more portions of this article duplicated other source(s). The material was copied from: http://jurist.law.pitt.edu/faq/. While a contributor did add quotation marks around the material after the problems were noted, I'm afraid that this did not address the larger issue, that policy forbids extensive quotations. Infringing material has been removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences or phrases. Accordingly, the material may be rewritten, but only if it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:28, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Requested move 21 February 2023
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: Moved. Closed early per WP:SNOW. Move requested based on several parts of WP:MOS which are highly unlikely to be contested (hence WP:SNOW). (non-admin closure) Estar8806 (talk) 03:00, 22 February 2023 (UTC)

Website slogan change
[edit]Since when did the website's slogan start referring to the rule of law as being "in crisis"? There might be something to note in the article. Disclaimer: I am not connected with the website. --Minoa (talk) 10:23, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
