Why he is called Leontinus II? Who was Leontinus I?--Panairjdde 11:07, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

The first one was an usurper in 484...since there are so many usurpers and co-emperors, Byzantine numbering is kind of strange sometimes. But this can probably safely be moved to Leontius, or "Leontius (emperor)" since there seem to be other people with that name. Adam Bishop 15:26, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

This Leontius cannot be the father of Aelia Eudocia, who was born about 401 CE.

Perhaps this article should be moved to Leontius II with a disambiguation page here at Leontius? Jacob Haller 04:03, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
