[edit]I removed the section below as part of the post-merge clean-up. I think this section is speculative in nature, and certainly non-encyclopedic in nature. In addition, I've never heard of the PP&L being claimed to be the building in the Superman TV series, so I'm editing this out unless someone can provide the appropriate documentation and citation. - "For years, a local urban legend circulated that claimed that the PPL Building was used as the backdrop for the 1950s Adventures of Superman television series starring actor George Reeves. While it does resemble the fictional Daily Planet newspaper building shown in first-season episodes of the classic series, the Carnation Building (Los Angeles, California) located on Wilshire Boulevard, was the actual building pictured every week until Los Angeles City Hall replaced it on screen. The Carnation Building somewhat resembles the PP&L Building in architectural style but on a smaller scale. Perhaps future Hollywood production executives will give the PP&L Building its own chance at stardom; the classic skyscraper would make an ideal background "prop" for a motion picture set in the 1920s or 1930s."
Talen
[edit]I added information on the proposed Talent spinoff. As the situation is liquid, help will be needed to keep up with it. Cheers.Grahamboat (talk) 22:59, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
