Any reason Palm Treo can't redirect to Palm Trēo?

[edit]

Since the device is technically called "Trēo", I suggest moving this page if possible. Any objections? Andrewski 19:34, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pop culture references

[edit]

Pop culture references *are* relevant, as they frequently appear in many wikipedia articles on any number of subjects. ("The [insert article name here] in fiction" is something I copied out of a hundred different places.) I'm not going to revert it and appeal to others who might agree with me to do so (more consensus-oriented that way) but I think there's no problem with including it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kimpire (talkcontribs)

Agree. Readded the reference. Whoever doesn't agree, please discuss here. Pmbarros 19:17, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the RIM information is not specifically related to Treos. I believe the section that talks about popular Blackberry ... has to be removed. JoeMona

I use a Treo! Should I add that to the article? No. Why? Because it is not notable. Also it is not referenced. Also it in no way helps readers learn about Treos. If you would like to add some notable, referenced, useful information, feel free. As far as other articles with similar sections, please see WP:Othercrapexists. ~ JohnnyMrNinja 06:34, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Treo 90

[edit]

Can someone correct the placement of the Treo 90? It was certainly not the first introduced; it was introduced either with the 270 or the 300. Jepeltw 23:29, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure? I think it's the first. --ginbot86 —Preceding comment was added at 04:55, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,kb=PalmSupportKB,t=ooccase,case=obj(47831) and the Wiki page for the 90 (and my memory) the 180 was first.

No idea how to edit tables, or I would change it myself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.116.196.61 (talk) 00:24, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Treo 650 in "Miami Ink"

[edit]

Three of the tatoo artist in Miami Ink, uses Treo 650. They are Ami James, Chris Nunez and Kat. I think Kat's Treo is G-Masked.

Treo in pop culture

[edit]

Please add Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide 3x12 - Cellphones & Woodshop (Nick)

"Moze gets a new phone she has no clue how to use." Happens to be a TREO 650.

Interestingly enough, the school 'geek' gives her the wrong method for unlucking the screen/keyboard. Later, she ends a "video call" which is impossible since the 650 can't do a video call! and if it could, the camera's on the wrong side!

Palm Centro added as Trēo 690?

[edit]
Release date Models PDA Notes Phone Notes Other Notes
2007 Treo 690 (CDMA) 320 x 320 pixel resolution, removable battery, 1.3 MP camera, bluetooth 1.2, Palm OS 5 CDMA, GPRS, CDMA 800/1900MHz digital dual-band, CDMA2000 EvDO network, backwards compatible with 1xRTT networks. Sprint exclusive at launch date. Released October 14, 2007. Product SKU PTR690HK aligns this phone with the Trēo family, however it was branded the Palm Centro.

The Palm Centro has a product SKU of PTR690HK, which following the pattern of Trēo SKUs, that would have made this the Trēo 690. Is that something of note, and noteworthy enough that it should be added? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Doomed (talkcontribs) 11:04, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
