World War II service

Although sources say Scherle served in the United States Navy and Coast Guard during the World War II era, no reliable sources found as of yet state that he served overseas in a war zone during the war. If a reliable source is found and cited, please add either Category:American naval personnel of World War II or Category:United States Coast Guard personnel of World War II. Semper Fi!
