RWBY
[edit]- ... that Monty Oum, the creator of Rooster Teeth Productions' upcoming series RWBY, was concerned that the show focused on female characters but was being developed by a mostly male crew?
- Reviewed: Eugene Chelyshev
- Comment: Hook is backed by an hour-long interview with Oum. The concern noted above is discussed from around the time of 50:30 to 53:00. There have been two previous deleted versions of this article that I think need to be considered by an admin to assess validity of nomination.--The Devil's Advocate tlk. cntrb. 23:57, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

- The references Front Towards Gamer and Constantly Calibrating do not seem like reliable sources based on their About pages. SL93 (talk) 18:30, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- It is not the sites themselves being used as sources for the material, but the interviews they did with Monty Oum and other people from Rooster Teeth involved in the series.--The Devil's Advocate tlk. cntrb. 18:58, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- That is true, but the interviews are on unreliable sources. I wouldn't accept these sources as much as I wouldn't accept interviews on Blogspot blogs. I will see what others think. SL93 (talk) 19:00, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- Citing an interview with the staff is no different than citing an official page. It is the words of the staff and creators that are being used as a source, not the site. We are not talking about an interview that was jotted down in a blog, but an interview you can hear or watch so there is no doubt as to the interview's provenance.--The Devil's Advocate tlk. cntrb. 19:08, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- FN2 is a bare url. Also, FTG references are not for interviews, but seem to be articles. I agree with SL93 that reliability is not shown for them. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:34, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
- The PAX East ref has a YouTube video of the interview at the bottom, and the other FTG ref is basically just a little paragraph followed by the recording of the hour-long interview. Hawkeye apparently had no trouble locating the interviews.--The Devil's Advocate tlk. cntrb. 06:15, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, found em. Ref has been fixed too. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:14, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
