Ugh, the low standards of Wiki.Kraków part of Prussia, Livonia and Sweden?--MyMoloboaccount (talk) 16:42, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's not what it's saying; it's the names of the subdivisions of the Hanseatic League, see File:Extent of the Hansa.jpg, for example. Accordingly, I've reverted your edits. — OwenBlacker (Talk) 18:09, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You base your claim on a scan of map? Anyway it doesn't contain Wrocław, Kraków in any of the circles so your claim that is based on that is completely false .--MyMoloboaccount (talk) 18:24, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The map this is based on does not mention circles, it talks bout "groups". The circles in this template are different from other sources talking about circles. We have so far no contemporary sources of Hanseatic circles. The subdivision in circles should not be in this template. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OpenFuture (talkcontribs) 20:40, 23 April 2011

@OpenFuture: As you know from the conversation we're having on the article talk page, we know there are circles from several sources. Once we have resolved the confusion on the article page, we can resolve the same confusion here. — OwenBlacker (Talk) 20:08, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've just added the new membership table (copiously referenced) to the article. I'll update this template (notably, using the shorter and less contentious Circle names) once I get a chance, though that might not be until later in the week. — OwenBlacker (Talk) 00:04, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've just updated this table to use the Quarters from the main article and only to include cities who are referenced in the main article. I'm about to seek out references for the unreferenced cities, so might add some of those back in later. — OwenBlacker (Talk) 11:23, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Most members are missing. However, there are issues concerning memberships, which I have covered in great length at Talk:Hanseatic League.
