Oranje-Nassau
[edit]Read the RVD page carefully and you'll see that it avoids using Orange-Nassau as the PRESENT name of the House, even on an English website. Sure, origin etc. - but not the name since 1815. They know their constitutional law too well to state something unlawful. Its time for the rest of us to catch up, after nearly two centuries.
On your side, I note that while the national coat of arms (also adopted in 1815, and unchanged since) avoids any icon related to Orange (Orange as in "a town in France") (and for good 1815 reasons, but let me not get into that subject) I have noticed that these icons are coming back in the personal coat of arms of some of the present princes. - Sounds like the present tense to me. I'd like to see where the English language website refers to them as Oranje-Nassau if you'd be so kind. Charles 03:30, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
