Starting year

Era Names

Modern era begins in 1903? And why are the eras divided as they are?
[edit]That's just plain weird because EVERYTHING I have ever read said it began in 1901. It was only in 1903 they had their peace.
Also, why is 1953-1968 one era? DandyDan2007 (talk) 10:10, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
Wild card

Pitch clock era?
[edit]Considering the drastic changes the new pitch clock rules are making this season, I wonder if a new era should be created. There is precedent with the Dead Ball and Live Ball era which came about due to rule changes as well. - Richiekim (talk) 15:14, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
