Trezmen Marshall is an American football linebacker for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He previously played for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Early life and high school

Marshall was born in Homerville, Georgia, where he attended high school at Clinch County. Coming out of high school, Marshall was ranked as a four star prospect and committed to play college football for the Georgia Bulldogs.[1][2]

College career

In Marshall's first career season in 2019 he notched five tackles in three games.[3] In the 2020 COVID-19 shortened season, Marshall appeared in ten games recording no statistics.[4] In the 2021 season, Marshall played in four games recording seven tackles before suffering a season ending knee injury.[5] In week three of the 2022 season, Marshall notched four tackles and his first career interception against South Carolina.[6] Marshall finished the 2022 season with 19 tackles with four and a half going for a loss, a sack, and an interception.[7] After the conclusion of the 2022 season, Marshall entered the NCAA transfer portal.[8][9] He would also finish his career with 2 Peach Bowls victories and 1 Orange Bowl victory. And he was one of the main pieces of the dominant 2022 Georgia Bulldogs defense.

Marshall finished his career for the Georgia Bulldogs with 30 tackles with four and a half being for a loss, a sack, a pass deflection, and an interception.[10] Marshall also won a 2022 Sec Championship and two National Championships with the Georgia Bulldogs, in 2021 and 2022.[11]

Alabama

Marshall transferred to Alabama to finish out his collegiate career.[12][13] In week five of the 2023 season, Marshall recorded nine tackles along with a sack and a half in a win versus Mississippi State.[14] Marshall won the SEC Championship Game with Alabama in 2023 against his former team and coach, the Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart, with the score of 27-24.[15] Marshall and 4th ranked Alabama would end their season with an 27-20 overtime loss to Michigan in the CFP.[16]
