Welcome to my user page!
My name is Derek and I am currently a junior at Rice University. I am majoring in mathematics and find great joy discovering social issues in America and East Asia. My interests include economic inequities, urban planning, and other social policies. In my free time, I like to bike and play soccer. I am excited to be part of this online community and the Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities course.
Thank you for visiting.
Tape v. Hurley
I would like to revise the current wikipedia article for the Tape v. Hurley case, reorganizing the contents, providing more background contexts, and further discussing the results of this court case. I am interested in this topic as it has high importance in the history of Chinese Americans. I believe that this case should be known by more people.
