I've lived for substantial periods in five different American states: Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Florida, and Virginia. I'm Midwestern United States by birth and culture, and have traveled extensively in the USA.
I see more and more kerfuffles about Conflict of Interest editing, so to be clear -- I am heavily involved with the USIYPT, whose article I created, but I have no financial stake. At least not until someone hands me a seven-figure grant.
