I have a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry, am based in the United States, and am a middle-Millennial.[1] Science was my first passion, but I have broad interest in numerous subjects, particularly in STEM-related fields and am generally a life-long learner. As time goes on I find myself being more passionate about contemporary creative fields and practices. Music videos are my favorite entertainment medium, and am passionate about experimental music and art. I read Wikipedia almost every day and have been an avid reader since 2005, with the occasional small edit along the way. Although, I did not make an account for myself until 2018, and didn't actually learn wiki procedures until 2021.
I'm here almost every day, and >99% of the time it is spent reading. I tend to read pages that are broadly related to science, as well as medicine, psychology, geography, languages, music, and people. As a result, if I do edit something it is most likely under these categories. In general, curiosity drives me. The world is such an interesting place.
There's a few here and there, but the only one worth listing is Total Synthesis, although I don't feel like completing it. Too much work and reminds me way too much of school. Someone else can do that.
