[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Latin America appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. The Ogre (talk) 11:47, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit]I reverted your edit calling Quito the largest city in Ecuador. Such a change requires a citation to a WP:Reliable source, which you have not supplied. I will also note that this site, this, this, and this, as well as other sites, all state that Quayaquil is the largest city in Ecuador. Please do not change the article again to state that Quito is the largest city in Ecuador without first gaining consensus to so on Talk:Quito. - Donald Albury 18:03, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
- If you know of reliable sources that state that Quito is the largest city in Ecuador, please present them at Talk:Quito. Non-English sources may be used in the English Wikipedia, but, per Wikipedia:Verifiability#Non-English sources, "English-language sources are preferred over non-English ones when available and of equal quality and relevance." It is therefore important that you present the sources you want to use so that other editors can determine what the preponderance of relible sources say. = Donald Albury 02:22, 13 March 2019 (UTC)
