Speedy deletion nomination of Hoopgrids.com
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hoopgrids.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Fanum Tax Addition
[edit]You've added Fanum Tax to the list of Gen z slang. Cool! (I swear to God I thought it was already on the list, but maybe it's just the Mandela Effect.) Small thing though, the list is in alphabetical order and you put Fanum Tax at last. I'm on my phone right now which makes it quite the daunting task to edit on Wikipedia, at least for me, so it'd be great if you went back to the list and moved Fanum Tax back to alphabetical order. Thanks in advance. TheWikiToby (talk) 05:54, 25 June 2024 (UTC)

Atlantic306 (talk) 21:05, 28 June 2024 (UTC)Speedy deletion nomination of Josh Bannan
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Josh Bannan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://nbl.com.au/news/nbl-young-guns-set-for-summer-league. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Draft:Leon O. Morgan
[edit]Hi, Sushidude21. You recently created a page on Leon O. Morgan, which I've decided to move to the draftspace as Draft:Leon O. Morgan. Something I don't think you know is that taking a source text and modifying it superficially- in this case, changing all the pronouns to third person and modifying the verbs, is something called close paraphrasing. It's a form of plagiarism and copyright violation, just like copying and pasting the source document would be. Lots of people don't know this, but please keep this in mind. (And if you know you've done this on another article, please go back and fix it!)
Now, back to the article. I could have asked for it to be deleted under section G12 of the speedy deletion policy, but I decided to just remove the infringing text and move the article to draftspace for you. This way, you can work on it at your leisure. I'd also strongly recommend you re-submit it through the Articles for Creation process. While you don't have to, writing articles isn't easy and it sometimes helps to have a second pair of eyes! GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 07:23, 5 July 2024 (UTC)

Minor edits
[edit]Hi, Sushidude21! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you mark many of your edits as "minor". On Wikipedia, this has a very specific meaning: minor edits show there are "only superficial differences exist between the current and previous versions. Examples include typographical corrections, corrections of minor formatting errors, and reversion of obvious vandalism. A minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute" (see WP:MINOR). This isn't a huge deal, but I thought it was worth pointing out. I hope you stick around! :) Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 14:00, 7 September 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Maneuvers in surfing
[edit]Hello Sushidude21!,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Darth Stabro, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Maneuvers in surfing, for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Surfing#Maneuvers. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Darth Stabro}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Adolf Hitler Uunona
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Adolf Hitler Uunona requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adolf Uunona. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
The article 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
We do not have individual pages for Nobel prizes in physics. We are not the peace prize.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ReyHahn (talk) 07:39, 17 October 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Dcotos (talk) 08:38, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
