Hello, I'm a Wikipedia user from China Mainland. According to Wikipedia policies, editing Wikipedia via a proxy is not allowed (See Wikipedia:Blocking_policy#Open_or_anonymous_proxies).
But since China has a government-level censorship of Wikipedia, the only way to access Wikipedia is using a proxy/VPN. I request the permission to edit Wikipedia via a proxy/VPN.
According to a corresponding Wikipedia guideline Wikipedia:Open_proxies#Editors_who_need_to_use_proxies, I have tried mailing to a Checkuser, but up to now I haven't received a reply.
If any admin sees this, is it OK to grant me the permission to edit Wikipedia via a proxy/VPN? Or what else can I do? Please help me, thanks a lot.
