Mayweather / flagicons

[edit]

Before reverting my removal of the flagicons, please participate in the discussion at Talk:Joe Calzaghe to weigh in on the debate. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 00:22, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, too late. You've already reverted me twice. Not willing to discuss? Too bad. You can also join in at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Boxing if you change your mind. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 00:24, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK then, discussion started. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 00:34, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Flagicon issues

[edit]

Hello TwoNyce, as you might know there is an ongoing discussion about flag icons in boxing record tables and I would appreciate if you could share your opinion or at least voice you support or opposition. It would be great if you could voice your opinion here in the "RfC: Flag icons in professional boxing record tables" section. Cheers!--Fallengrademan (talk) 01:06, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re: PPV buys

[edit]

You're full of shit on this one: "Espinoza said sales of that fight are now up to 4.6 million, which is where he expects them to settle." Showtime official himself stating the figure—it's right there. If that's what you call "irrelevant", and grounds to keep reverting my change to the article, then you're nothing short of delusional. Take a read of WP:OWN and get a clue. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 14:45, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You make me wanna laugh. I see no other sources saying otherwise. Only articles saying "Stephen Espinoza said so". C'mon Is that all you got. Wouldn't that type of news be all over the place?? Thats shit is just as reliable as Don Rafeal saying Mayweather-Guerrero did 870k. please man --User:TwoNyce 22:25, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And I see no sources disputing the updated figure of 4.6mil. They no longer quote 4.4mil because of that. You said on my talk page: "The only thing that matters is what Showtime and HBO officials said. I see nothing where to they said 4.6 million buys came in." Showtime official Espinoza said it above, so as I said—you are flat-out full of shit. Laugh all you want, but these are WP:RS and the figure is as good as official. Take it to WP:DR if you want and make me laugh this time. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 01:49, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yea, and just for kicks: 4.6 mil confirmed from the HBO side only last month. Give it up, dude. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 01:54, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Mixtape, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Hello TwoNyce--

Please note that the prior revert was similarly due to original research concerns, where personal analysis was being added in the form of an image caption. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 00:43, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Menace II Society (soundtrack), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages George Clinton and Zapp. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited World War III, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page USS Enterprise (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into World War III. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:56, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
