Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ssajib, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kim Tae-woo. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:19, 28 October 2020 (UTC) Thx dpl bot i will fix it.[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Can hassan

[edit]

Hello Waltzingmogumogupeach,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Can hassan for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Information icon Hello, I'm No Great Shaker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 9th millennium BC, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. In addition, please take care to edit articles carefully so as not to leave spelling, grammar or syntax errors. Thank you. Control copyright icon Hello Waltzingmogumogupeach! Your additions to Mesopotamian marriage law have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. All other images must be made available under a free and open license that allows commercial and derivative reuse to be used on Wikipedia.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 12:00, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Yolanda Joab-Mori requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://gov.fm/index.php/component/content/article/35-pio-articles/news-and-updates/395-yolanda-joab-mori-joins-blue-prosperity-micronesia-as-program-coordinator and https://www.nairobisummiticpd.org/speaker/ss8yolanda-joab-mori. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notice

The article Wolchon Middle School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable non-secondary school.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Not using edit summary

[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Replaceable fair use File:O-yeongsulastsessioncurtaincallfreud.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:O-yeongsulastsessioncurtaincallfreud.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. 1945 in Korea moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 1945 in Korea, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of List of years in Korea prior to 1945

[edit]

Hello, Waltzingmogumogupeach,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Dawkin Verbier, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged List of years in Korea prior to 1945 for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. You may find our guide for writing quality articles to be extremely informative. Also, you may want to consider working on future articles in draft space first, where they cannot be deleted for lacking content.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dawkin Verbier}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

{Re|Dawkin Verbier}}
Hi, Dawkin. This is Waltzingmogumogupeach. I want to inform you that the article in question is needed to do what I am trying to do. Sure, the article is currently in bad shape cause the article 1945 in Korea, which is currently a draft article has been moved to draft space(tho List of years in South Korea or List of years in North Korea article currently exists and hell, even List of years in the United States exist in a similar format so I don't know why this article seems to be "unencyclopedic" to you here.), but it is needed to add things that I want to add on the english wikipedia. So the thing is in the Korean wikipedia, there are lot of series of articles that has "(Year) in Korea"(The korean wikipedia chose this because it is mainly written by south koreans who chose to write the whole korean peninsula as united) format that has a series of events, sort of like in the same fashion as in for example(in the english wikipedia) like the article 1945 in the United States. But the thing is here in the english wikipedia the article after 1945 is seperate, like "19xx in North Korea" or "19xx in South Korea"(and I think we need these articles because if I, say add some korean events on the normal 1945 or 1946 page(which are normally anglo or western centric) I know it would be not considered notable enough to add for a global entry, but it would be notable enough for a korean entry.). The problem seemed more obvious when I found that surprisingly the article "1947 in South Korea" was awkwardly in here(This makes things just very tricky, cause this was even before south or north korea was a country, tho it did have different trajectories from north korea at the time). So to fix this, I added the missing "19xx in south or north Korea" articles for things that happened after liberation of korea(from japan) and treated what happened befre korea was liberated from japan seperately. In that line of thinking this article was created, which means it not only tries to add the 1945 in korea, but articles that includes even "189x in korea" or many other years. Also I am having trouble with the templates here cause years in korea template before 1948 just links to the normal 19xx years, which also kinda makes things tricky. So, it is better to keep the article. Waltzingmogumogupeach (talk) 09:49, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Spacing

[edit]

Please add spaces before and after parentheses. Also add language templates where you can for proper renders. For example: "Chollima(천리마대로)" → "Chollima ({{lang|ko|천리마대로}})" Yue🌙 05:06, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Upon reviewing your other edits thoroughly, apply this request generally to punctuation, as you also forget to add spaces before commas. It's the same grammar rules as Korean. Yue🌙 05:15, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Waltzingmogumogupeach: Please add spaces before your parentheses (brackets). Quotation marks (") also end before, not after the parentheses. Yue🌙 06:00, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Pangu into Bouyei people. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. 1st Special Forces Brigade (South Korea)

[edit]

Structure of the Republic of Korea Army

Footwiks (talk) 16:09, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Waltzingmogumogupeach (talk) 16:52, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Footwiks (talk) 17:00, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Waltzingmogumogupeach (talk) 17:04, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Footwiks (talk) 17:10, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Pharaohs only mentioned in the Palermo Stone indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 16:56, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
