Little Sprogs es un curso de inglés diseñado especialmente
para niños. Parte desde cero y llega hasta completar el
nivel A2. El enfoque del curso está en la comunicación oral,
de forma prioritaria, aunque se tratan también el listening,
reading y writing. Desde el primer día se hace uso de revisiones
sistemáticas para consolidar la materia.

Los niños se sumergen continuamente en vocabulario nuevo,


que tienen que poner en práctica con el profesor o los
compañeros de clase. A través de preguntas y respuestas van
consolidando la competencia comunicativa y la fluidez.

El curso está dirigido a hispanoparlantes, por lo que se tratan


especialmente los errores típicos de estos estudiantes. Cada
palabra está traducida y acompañada de la transcripción
fonética para asegurar una pronunciación óptima.

Los libros están divididos en diez divertidas lecciones con


ejercicios y “listenings” al final de cada uno, que se completan
con un test cada cinco lecciones para medir el progreso real
de los alumnos. Además de las traducciones de las palabras
en cada página, hay un glosario de todo el vocabulario inglés-
español y español-inglés al final del libro.

El pasado simple
• Si queremos expresarnos en el pasado, tenemos que poner el verbo en pasado.
• Hay verbos regulares e irregulares. Los irregulares tienen una forma a veces muy distinta en el
pasado como go - went.
• Para hacer una pregunta en el pasado empezamos con “Did” en vez de “Do”.
• Para negar el verbo usamos “Didn’t” en vez de “Don’t”.
• Solo ponemos el verbo en pasado en frases afirmativas, en negativas e interrogativas el verbo
auxiliar “Did” nos indica el pasado así que dejamos el verbo en presente.

Example:
A: Did you go to the cinema yesterday? A: Did you see “Titanic”?
B: Yes, I went to the cinema yesterday. B: No, I didn’t see “Titanic”, I saw “Avatar”.

El pasado simple
• Hay dos tipos de verbos: regulares e irregulares.
• Los regulares forman el pasado añadiendo –ed al final.
• Los irregulares… no tienen reglas, hay que aprender sus pasados.

Example:
Present Simple – I usually play tennis on Saturdays
Past Simple – I played tennis yesterday (Hemos añadido las letras “ed” a “play” para formar el pasado)

Remember: Sólo usamos los verbos en pasado en frases afirmativas, en negativas e interrogativas
