Instead we do them first, which allows for more... | By andrea.nelson.art | This one turns out so pretty and it's really easy. Watercolor paint. Make a puddle of black and one of dark blue. Need an old gift card or credit card. Dip the edge into the paint. Drag the edge of the card across as you move up the page. Then do the opposite side. Make your trees different widths and shapes and that'll make it look realistic. It already looks so fancy and we did this with trash. I went in with more concentrated paint and added some darker spots and then I made extra little side branch thingies with like twigs and stuff. Let it dry. We do want dense leaves. We want it to look like there's a lot of light coming through so we're going to do something different. Spray a little water up at the top lightly. Grab some paint and just touch it to that water. If you can't see where the water is, that's okay. You'll find the water eventually. Just keep dotting in leaves. Most of the water that I sprayed has dried. So, we're going to spray it again lightly. Don't drench it. You can spritz the paper and also the leaves that you've already put down and that will help make them look more natural. Just don't overdo it. You have to let this dry totally before the next start. So, see. I added in some blue to the white space to look like sky but you don't have to fill every single little. of white. I got lighter as I went towards the bottom and then, I added some green and I defined the edges of the trees just a little bit with some black. Meet me back here tomorrow and we'll do birch trees and acrylic 'cuz I can't stop painting trees now.
