This is the golden-headed lion tamarin (Leontopithecus chrysomelas)! Also called golden-headed tamarins. Not to be confused with closely related golden-lion tamarins (Leontopithecus rosalia). Endemic to the Atlantic Forest of coastal Brazil. They live in family groups of 4-8 individuals; a mated pair and their offspring. Populations are fragmented from deforestation. Only 2-5% of their original habitat remains. They are Endangered.
