Finished a few mini-quilts this week. 2 as birthday gifts for 2 of my aunts. The sheep is just 9.5 inches square. This cardinal is 14 inches square. 1 for my mini-quilt wall, 11 x 13 inches. I'm lovin' the snowflake border, I may have to use this in the future. and 1 extra (not sure who will get this one), 11 inches square. Fun projects but, I'm done with cardinals :) Carolyn

Made from cotton quilting fabric in a pet free/ smoke free home. The wall hanging is made from pieced together fabrics of varying colors to create a pattern. The pattern is then free motion quilted on a basic sewing machine. The dowel rod can be easily removed to wash or to be used as a placement that will lay flat. Washing tips: wash on gentle cycle with like colors in cold water. Allow to air dry to prevent shrinkage.

Every morning we would climb onto Grandma's couch that slide up to the table in front of the window to look out for the birds that visited the feeders she and my Grandpa tended to. On the breakfast table was a pair of binoculars and a bird identification book.
