I'm starting a new series called the skull series that will focus on skulls with different environments and hard surface scifi stuff.

I saw this awesome piece by Quentin Mabille (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mwYo8) and felt like i had to recreate it in 3D. I used meshes from an Unreal Engine demo scene to speed up the process as well as a basemesh for the skull which I then retopologized in Maya. I also made some substance designer materials to practice the program.
