We’ve always had quite a small 32 inch tv, so when the husband announced he wanted a 65 incher, my brain set to work about how to hide it. These cupboards are the result. 

Now, if you’re NOT interested in ‘hinge chat’…skip to the next paragraph…
I thought it’d be straight-forward to fold the doors out of sight. But ooooh nooooo! I considered pocket doors that slip into a recess either side, but these are so wide, they would have stuck out 20cm. We looked at sliding rails but couldn’t find anything that would (a) allow the doors to sit flush when closed and (b) not cost a fortune! And most hinges don’t open 180 degrees. Who knew?!
