I don't know about you guys, but sewing doll clothes has (until recently!) always been mysteriously frustrating for me. I just couldn't figure out how other people were doing it so successfully. The corseted over-dress, fully lined, is cut in a wonderful dark shot cotton "Moor" (weaving of burgundy and emerald green threads). These piece is edged by an assortment of embroidery, trims and lace. Tiny gold eyelets and a satin ribbon lacing make the back closure.
