This was a fairly small blanket, certainly no larger than throw sized, and took a ton of time to lay out to incorporate all the details I wanted without allowing any of it to go to waste. The vest features sweet rounded pockets that highlight the only area on the original blanket where the blanket stitch remained intact, and both the coat and vest include some truly incredible wool fabric that originally belonged to my assistant’s mother, and possibly even grandmother! What a special thing it is to give these antique vintage textiles a new life and way to be used outside of their original intention. Wool jacket is sewn of vintage natural woolen blanket. The jacket is warm, comfortable and lightweight. The coat is sewn in 1 look. Bright beautiful orange buttons are selected for the jacket. The color of the jacket is green, perhaps the photos do not fully convey the color of the jacket. Dimensions: - material wool - size L - length from collar 24.4 Lb ( 62 cm ) - width under sleeves 23.62 Lb ( 60 cm ) - sleeve length 22.04 Lb (56 cm). If the sleeve is long, it can be rolled up.
