Cynthia Vines received her PhD from the University of Southern California with a specialization in Tax Accounting. She has published in Journal of Public Economics, The Journal of the American Taxation Association , The Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, The Journal of Legal, Ethical and Regulatory Issues, and The Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences.In addition to teaching at the University of Kentucky, Cynthia Vines has taught at the University of Arizona, The University of Southern California, the California Institute of Technology and the University of Texas at Arlington.Cynthia Vines previously served as the Director of the University of Kentucky's Online Certificate in Financial Planning. Her current research interests include data visualization and the non-financial content of corporate annual reports.
